Looking Into Classic Gaming With the Xbox 360 Virtual Arcade

Microsoft are constantly endeavoring to make their Xbox Live experience as fun and interactive as possible for existing gamers and newcomers to the system. As the possibilities broaden, Microsoft are able to include many great features online, such as Twitter, Sky and Netfix. One of the great and exciting upcoming projects is Xbox 360 virtual arcade, which is gathering much excitement from gamers.

Microsoft are building upon the ability to play retro games online by developing their new Xbox 360 virtual arcade. The intention is to re-introduce certain titles which many veteran and nostalgic gamers would like to revisit. Whilst many of these games may seem simplistic or even comical to the gamers of today, microsoft believe that many of them are still great titles worth looking into.

Some of the titles planned for this venture include such classics as Rocket Knight, Centipede, Streets of Rage and even the classic Asteroids. These games will mean the world to those users who grew up on them, and offer a nice aside to the bigger games of the day. The Xbox 360 virtual arcade even offers users their very own interactive arcade space. When a player buys one of these classic titles, they can position it anywhere in their arcade, and they even appear as the classic arcade cabinets!

Finally, Microsoft's new feature is fully interactive, so gamers can invite their friends to visit and play in their own arcade. Voice chat is fully included along with avatars, leaderboards, multiplayer functions and more. In exchange for your Microsoft points you can craft your very own Xbox virtual arcade, and enjoy some classic games with your friends!
